WALK THE MOON at 2015 Summerfest

Ohio masters of pop – WALK THE MOON – headlined Milwaukee’s Summerfest, bringing in the largest crowd the festival has seen to date, over at the U.S. Cellular Stage. Frontman Nicholas Petricca (lead vocals/keys/ synthesizer), Kevin Ray (bass), Sean Waugaman (drums), and Eli Maiman (guitar) seemed right at home, as this marked the fourth time the Midwesterners played Summerfest. Painted faces, handmade signs, and smiles greeted the foursome, who in turn greeted fans with plenty of love and 80s inspired dance beats. The band and fans danced the night away to favorites like, “Different Colors” and “Shut Up and Dance,” off WTM’s latest release TALKING IS HARD, and after radiating plenty of positivity, Walk the Moon ended the night with the song that started it all for them, “Anna Sun.” Fans went wild, dancing and singing along.

Walk the Moon will be touring all summer and well into the fall. A list of tour dates is available on the WTM facebook page.
