Fit for a King is a metalcore band that formed in 2007 that was formed in Dallas and Tyler, Texas. The band is made up of lead vocalist Ryan Kirby, drummer Jared Easterling, guitarist Bobby Lynge and bassist Ryan O’Leary.  The four members are currently on tour with After the Burial, Emmure, Fit for an Autopsy and Invent, Animate. A local band from Maryland known as Artifacts also joined the show for the night. On March 20th, 2017, the band performed at the Baltimore Soundstage in Baltimore, Maryland and got the crowd riled up for After the Burial’s performance.

Fit for a King began the night with their song “The End’s Beginning” from their newest album Deathgrip released on October 7th, 2016. Deathgrip is the band’s fourth album and it includes eleven songs that are sure make listeners want to get out of their seats. Vocalist Ryan Kirby stated that their song “Pissed Off” refers to Isis’s attack in France. The band was touring in Europe when this attack occurred which set the mood for their album Deathgrip that was created there as well.
