Metallica Brought a Heavy Dose of Metal to Lollapalooza

America’s heavy metal heroes, Metallica, melted faces at Lollapalooza 2015. Frontman James Hetfield, guitarist Kirk Hammett, bassist Robert Trujillo, and drummer Lars Ulrich raged through a two hour set, including favorites like “For Whom the Bell Tolls,” “Master of Puppets,” “Seek & Destroy,” and “Enter Sandman,” while a select group of hardcore fan club members watched on stage, from behind, with horns raised. Fans young and old rocked out with the LA band, who rose to fame in the 80s but proved they’re still going strong, three decades in. If you missed Metallica at Lolla, you can watch select clips from their performance online, thanks to Red Bull.

Metallica is currently touring Europe and will be playing Reading and Leeds. A full list of tour dates is available on the band’s Facebook page.
