O.A.R. at Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre in Tinley Park

On June 30, 2017, O.A.R. (also know as, Of a Revolution) performed at Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre in Tinley Park with picture perfect weather for the evening. Currently, O.A.R. is on tour with Train for the Play that Song Tour, along with Natasha Bedingfield.

O.A.R. is supporting their career spanning compilation album, XX, which was released on August 5th, 2016 via Vanguard Records. The album coincided with coincide with their 20th anniversary as a band. The songs selection for the evening included songs from their 20-year span. Fans cheered as the band walked out on stage and began their set with “Love and Memories” off their fifth album, Stories of a Stranger which was released in 2005. Each of their 8 studio albums was represented by at least on song. The song “Hey Girl” actually appeared on three of the albums: Soul’s Aflame (1999), Risen (2001), as well as In Between Now and Then (2003). Also in the mix was “I Go Through” which was a new song included on XX. O.A.R. closed their set with “That Was a Crazy Game of Poker,” off their debut album by O.A.R. which was released 20 years ago in 1997, while the band was still in high school. However, O.A.R. was not done for the night. Train brought them back on stage to sing along on the Paul Simon cover, “You Can Call Me Al.”
