Welcome To Rockville 2018 – Day 2

Welcome To Rockville – Metropolitan Park, Jacksonville, Florida.

Day 1 | Day 2 | Day 3

If anyone missed Welcome To Rockville this year, you missed a great lineup and three awesome days of continuous music!! With so many amazing artists performing on three stages each day, we set each day with a separate write-up.  Each day’s write-up, contains links to the galleries. Unfortunately, all the bands on three stages couldn’t be covered by just one person, but I my best to cover as many as I could.

Here are the ones I caught from Day 2.

Saturday was day 2 and started off with Avatar which quickly became a new favorite band of a lot of fans at Rockville.  They started off with A Statue Of The King and ended with Smells Like A Freak Show.

Pop Evil did an awesome job playing on the one of the main stages followed by Sevendust which everyone went crazy for playing Dirty and Denial with ending there set with Face To Face.

One of the groups that not many people heard of, but did an amazing job was Asking Alexandria.  This is a group that has been around for a couple years and is now really getting well known. They started off playing Into The Fire and Alone In A Room and sang for the first time When The Lights Come On and finished with The Death Of Me.

This was the first time seeing Black Veil Brides and they were just amazing, loved this group.  They started with Faithless and ended with In The End. This is a great group to listen to if you never heard of them before.

Hollywood Undead was a group that everyone wanted to see and they started off with California Dreaming with all their masks on and were all over the stage.  Played a great lineup of songs and ended with Everywhere I Go.

Stone Temple Pilots was very good and played many of their older songs that were hits throughout the years and one of my favorite songs Vasoline!!

Breaking Benjamin came on and gave us a great performance like they always do.  Out of all the groups, this is the group that many of the fans knew and sang along with them the whole set.  In the middle of their set they even looked at the deaf interpreter and was trying to get some signs down that he could use at another time.

Stone Sour along with Avenged Sevenfold finished up night 2 and really put on a show.  Stone Sour played the older songs such as 30/30-150 and Through the Glass to newer songs such as song #3 and debut Whiplash Pants.  Avenged Sevenfold was such a great ending of the night playing there most famous songs like Bat Country and Afterlife and then some of my favorites such as Nightmare, Buried Alive, and So Far Away.  They also debut there song Shepherd Of Fire.
