Casting Crowns In Jacksonville, FL at the Daily’s Place
With a nearly packed house on Saturday night, March 30, 2019, the Daily’s Place brought Christian artist, Casting Crowns to the Amphitheater. I have seen Casting Crowns many times before and have loved them every time I have seen them. Casting Crowns puts on a very good concert and you can definitely tell what there message is when they travel around the country.
Casting Crowns is a contemporary Christian band that started in 1999 by Mark Hall, who was a youth pastor out of Daytona, FL and now lives in Atlanta, GA and is a youth pastor working from Sunday to Wednesday and tour from Thursday to Saturday. Mark Hall says their music is a “ministry of discipleship”. Currently, Casting Crowns has 7 people in their group. Mark Hall is the lead vocalist, Juan DeVevo is the guitar player, Chris Huffman is the bass player, Megan Garret is the piano , keyboards, backing vocals, Melodee DeVevo playing Violin backing vocals and cello, Brian Scoggin who plays the drums, and Josh Mix who is the lead guitarist and background vocalist.
The Daily’s Place was a perfect place for the concert with great sound and just the right size for a group such as this. The crowd was awesome with so much energy and sang along with every song that they sang. They played songs from there first couple albums to their brand new album that just came out last year called, Only Jesus. If you get a chance to go to their concert, in my opinion, you will enjoy the concert and its one of the best Christian concerts that you can go see!!
