Broken by Desire to be Heavenly Sent Tour

Currently, Lewis Capaldi is on the Broken by Desire to be Heavenly Sent tour. On April 19, 2023, the tour made a wonderful stop at Byline Bank Aragon Ballroom in Chicago for a sold the show out! Now, besides being on tour and selling Chicago out, I also give Lewis so much credit for not only being an incredible singer, but to be to perform while also having Tourette Syndrome. It is not something that is easy to do and yet Lewis makes it seem like it’s not an issue at all!

Opening up the night was Em Beihold. She’s an American pop singer songwriter born in Los Angeles, CA. Her most recent album, Egg in the Backseat release by July 22, 2022 via Republic Records.

During the show, Lewis performed 11 songs completely. While performing the 12th song, “Someone You Love”, Lewis left the stage. As a result of him being unable to perform any longer due to his Tourettes, the crowd sang it for him with a piano to accompany them! Lewis posted a huge thank you to Chicago the next day, saying it really made his night and he appreciated it!

Even though Lewis had to stop a few times during songs and had to end the night a song short, he still gave a 10 out of 10 performance. I just love hearing him sing and hit the notes! On top of that, in between songs, Lewis would make jokes about how all of his songs are about heartbreak and being single but how he does have a few songs about relationships for the couples out there! A lot of fans also had signs that Lewis read while on stage which is always really cool to see!

Overall, I would hands down see Lewis Capaldi perform again! He gives nothing less than 110% when he performs!
