About Lostboycrow

Lostboycrow aka Chris Blair grew up singing along to his parent’s Beatles cassette tapes and religiously watching that thing you do. He later established his genre-fluid style with 2016’s Sigh For Me EP, which he followed up with 2017’s Traveler EP trilogy, 2019’s full-length Santa Fe, and 2021’s Valleyheart. Lostboycrow has received praise from Billboard, Nylon, Earmilk, and more and has shared the stage with peers like Flor, K.Flay, and VÉRITÉ. The Hang Around Tour

Lostboycrow is in support, along with Band of Silver, of multi-platinum alt-pop trio Echosmith‘s fall tour. The Hang Around Tour is a 25-date run which kicked off October 13^th in Nashville at the Basement East. It hit cities like Los Angeles, New York, Nashville, Chicago, and more before wrapping up in Phoenix on November 18th.

The Show

On October 28, 2022, Bottom Lounge in Chicago was the next stop for The Hang Around Tour. After a short opening set by Band of Silver, the audience was geared up for more. Lostboycrow was ready to provide the it and did not disappoint the audience. Opening with, “Angelina”, and performing 9 additional songs, the mix of alt-R&B-pop got the audience dancing and cheering from the first note to the last. Lostboycrow and the band showed they were out to have a great time and wanted the audience to as well. As a result, the energy and excitement was contagious from the band onto the audience. The band members used the full area of stage as they were all around. In addition, there were quite a few very impressive “big air” jumps. During the set, “Indie Pop,” title song off the upcoming full-length album, was also performed. It gave the crowd a little preview of what they can to expect.

The show closed out with a high energy performance of the hit song “Strawberry Sunscreen”. Their set left the audience wanting more, along with quite a few new fans looking forward to seeing Lostboycrow again soon (including me). With the announcement of Lostboycrow’s new full-length album, Indie Pop, release on December 9th, 2022, let’s hope a headline tour is in the near future.
