Steel Panther at House of Blues in Chicago 2018
On November 29, 2018, California rock and party legends, Steel Panther, along with supporting artist, Wilson, brought the Sunset Strip Live! tour to the House of Blues in Chicago. The tour is in support of their 2017 release, Lower The Bar. Current band members include: Michael Starr on lead vocals; Satchel on guitars, backing vocals and acoustic guitar; Lexxi Foxx on bass, backing vocals; and Stix Zadinia on drums, keyboards, piano and backing vocals. Unfortunately, the band reported that bassist, Lexxi Foxx, had entered a ‘sex rebab’ and will not be performing on the band’s current U.S. tour. However, the band’s friend of over 30 years, Joe Lester, aka Spyder, is filling in for Lexxi on the band’s remaining 2018 dates.
The band was ready to rock and Chicago was excited to have a great time. Steel Panther did not disappoint the audience. Their setlist included nice mix of songs along with a few 80’s rock classics. From the beginning, stories, jokes and music had everyone laughing, singing and dancing. When we say dancing, well, guess you’ll just need to see them cover Def Leppard’s “Pour Some Sugar on Me” to see what we mean. Definitely a fun time had by everyone. Already looking forward to seeing them again.
