With two great artists getting the audience revved up for the night, it was time for Walker Hayes to hit the stage. If you didn’t know, Hayes is a family man and this tour is a family affair. Hayes and his family are on the bus together. In addition, his oldest daughter Lela, is one of the dancers on stage, along with some background vocals. We even were graced with two younger daughters dancing to the viral Tik Tok song, “Fancy Like”. Early in the set, Hayes also joked that if you see a dog run out on stage, it’s his.
The show started out strong with the hip-hop-influenced Southern rock anthem, “Y’all Life” and just kept going from there. A three song dedication to his wife called “The Laney Section” which included: “Don’t Let Her”, “9” and “U Gurl”.
