Wallows: Model and More Tour in Milwaukee 2025

Wallows Model and More Tour
On Monday, February 10th, Wallows, with support from Deb Never, stopped in Milwaukee for their Model and More Tour. A line of teens and twenty-somethings stretched from the doors of The Eagles Ballroom, wrapping around the building and down the block. Given that the Eagles Ballroom is the venue’s largest stage, this turnout was impressive.
Deb Never
Rising alternative Korean-American artist Deb Never kicked off the night backed by her two-piece band. Since her breakout EP, House on Wheels (2019), she has steadily made a name for herself in the industry. With chill beats and a strong, guitar-driven sound, her set had the crowd smiling and vibing along. For updates on Deb Never and her tour, visit www.debnever.com.
Wallows
Next, American alternative band Wallows—comprised of Dylan Minnette, Braeden Lemasters, and Cole Preston—kept the energy high. Formed in Los Angeles in 2018, they’ve released three albums, each with hit songs. With an energetic style and a stage presence reminiscent of The Beatles, Wallows has toured regularly, playing major festivals like Lollapalooza and Coachella. Now, they’re promoting their 2024 album Model and their upcoming EP More, set for release in March 2025. To stay updated, visit www.wallowsmusic.com.
As the stage lights dimmed, the crowd roared as Wallows opened with “Anytime, Always”. Minnette’s energy had fans hanging on his every word as he danced across the stage. During the opening songs, he jumped into the photo pit, climbed onto the barricade, and passed the mic to fans for the bridge. Nearly everyone in the front row captured the moment with vintage cameras, highlighting the band’s nostalgic appeal.
One unique aspect of the show was the constant rotation of instruments. Minnette often switched to drums while Lemasters led vocals. This added an exciting unpredictability to the performance, showcasing their musical versatility.
Conclusion
Wallows closed with an electrifying encore, leaving the crowd buzzing long after the final note. From Deb Never’s moody opener to Wallows’ high-energy set, the night was a celebration of live music. With their growing success and undeniable stage presence, Wallows once again proved why they’re one of the most exciting bands in alternative music today.
