The Show
Reverend Peyton, Breezy Peyton, and Max Senteney, the trifecta behind the Big Damn Band, delivered a spellbinding setlist that resonated deeply with the audience. Reverend Peyton’s magnetic stage presence, coupled with his virtuoso guitar skills, was a sight to behold. His wife, “Washboard” Breezy Peyton, wowed the crowd with her dexterity on the washboard. And Ben Max Senteney’s rhythmic precision on the drums anchored each track.

Tracks like “Poor Until Payday,” “Ways and Means,” and “Roundin’ Up Girls All Day” had the crowd on its feet, swaying and singing along to every beat.
Highlights of the night included Reverend Peyton’s solo rendition of the brand new song, “Honeysuckle.” The band paid homage to the blues with a stirring cover of R.L. Burnside’s “Poor Black Mattie”. Also, treating the crowd to a “traditional Christmas song by the great poet of rock and roll Mr. Chuck Berry’s” called “Run Rudolph Run” which he needed to teach himself how to play the bass with his thumb, while playing all the Chuck Berry licks in his fingers.
The encore, “Two Bottles of Wine,” was the perfect ending to an evening filled with fervor and musical brilliance. Reverend Peyton’s Big Damn Band left a mark with their authentic, high-octane performance, leaving the audience craving for more.
