Trivium at The Rave / Eagles Club in Milwaukee 2025
A metal-filled Saturday night at The Rave—what more could you want?
Milwaukee showed up strong for a heavy night at The Rave. Fans packed in early, ready for a lineup that brought three different sides of metal to one stage. This tour pairs Trivium, Jinjer, and Heriot—each with new music, each with a loyal following—making it an easy draw for anyone who wanted a loud, tight show.
Heriot
The evening opened with Heriot, a hard-hitting four-piece from the UK on their first North American tour. Their mix of distorted guitars, atmospheric clean vocals, and searing screams made for a powerful introduction. They wasted no time waking up the room, setting the tone for a packed night of heavy music.
JINJER
Next up was Jinjer, returning to The Rave once again (you can check out our previous post on 2024 coverage). Earlier this year, they released their latest album Duél, so launching the set with the title track felt natural. Their live energy never disappoints—frontwoman Tatiana Shmayluk continues to impress with her blend of deep, guttural screams and polished, melodic cleans. This marks Jinjer’s third stop at The Rave, and the crowd’s response proved why fans keep showing up every time they roll through Milwaukee.

Trivium
Closing out the night was headliner Trivium, also making their third appearance on this stage. Frontman Matt Heafy reminded the audience that they last played the venue exactly eight years earlier on November 15, 2017—some fans in the room might have witnessed both shows. Trivium is currently touring behind their Struck Dead EP, released on Halloween, the same night the tour launched. With more than two decades of music behind them, the band had no shortage of songs to pull from, giving fans a set that touched on most eras of their catalog. Their blend of metalcore, thrash, and classic heavy-metal influences came through clearly in Heafy’s soaring cleans and fierce roars, delivering a performance that made the long-running band’s staying power obvious.
Conclusion
In the end, the night delivered exactly what Milwaukee metal fans hoped for—three commanding sets, fresh music from every band, and a reminder of why The Rave remains a reliable stop for heavy touring acts. The show gave fans a full evening of talent, precision, and the kind of energy that keeps crowds turning out year after year.
