Brandon Lake in concert for The King of Hearts Tour

On Friday, October 18, 2025, I went to see Brandon Lake in concert for The King of Hearts Tour at VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena. It was honestly one of the best nights of my life. Brandon Lake’s energy was insane the whole night and he kept the crowd so into it. He was jumping around and really connecting with everyone, but then he totally switched it up and did some calmer songs like “Daddy’s DNA” and “As for Me and My Home”. Pat Barrett did a few songs with Brandon and then Pat performed some songs by himself while Brandon took a break, and then Brandon came back to finish the show.

The best part of the whole concert was definitely toward the end when he did this amazing combination of songs – “Hard Fought Hallelujah,” “Gratitude,” and “Praise.” I was hoping Jelly Roll would come out since he was in town to help sing “Hard Fought Hallelujah,” but he never showed up. Franni Cash, the opener and previous singer from We The Kingdon, came out after this and sang some songs with Brandon. When we sang “Gratitude” though, it was incredible. Brandon Lake actually sang this song at Charlie Kirk’s funeral so it meant even more. When we sang it, every person had their hands up in the air praising God and I have never seen anything like that before. There are no words to describe how amazing that was. Then Brandon paused everything and gave people a chance to accept salvation if they didn’t know God personally, which was really cool of him to do.

He ended the concert with my absolute favorite song “Sevens” and I was so happy he played it. If you haven’t heard that song you need to listen to it because it’s incredible. The whole night was just amazing with the crowd and atmosphere, and I would definitely go see Brandon Lake again. This concert was something I’ll remember forever and I’m so glad I got to be there.
