Claire Rosinkranz at Thalia Hall in Chicago 2026
Claire Rosinkranz My Lover Tour 2026
On May 27, 2026, Claire Rosinkranz brought her headlining tour to Thalia Hall, giving Chicago fans a chance to see the singer-songwriter perform songs from her latest album, My Lover, along with the fan favorites that helped launch her career. The appearance came less than a year after I last photographed Rosinkranz during her Summerfest 2025 performance in Milwaukee (see gallery post here). Also, supporting the Chicago show was Stevie Bill.
The Show
Stevie Bill
The evening began with a set from Stevie Bill. Songs including “Pieces,” “Water,” and “Everything U Want I Am” introduced the crowd to her music, while a cover of Prince’s “Purple Rain” proved to be one of the highlights of her performance. She wrapped up her set with “Take It Off For You” before making way for the night’s headliner. You can keep up with her at their official site: https://www.steviebill.com/

Rosinkranz’s set got off to an unexpected start when technical issues impacted the show. She explained to the audience that the band’s playback had been stolen, creating challenges early in the performance. Rather than delay the show, Rosinkranz and her band pushed forward while working to resolve the issue.
Once things were sorted out, the night settled into a strong performance featuring songs including “Kiss,” “Jayden,” “Chronic,” “Funeral,” “Sad in Hawaii,” and “I Wanna Be In Love So Bad.” Performing barefoot, Rosinkranz moved constantly around the stage, dancing and spinning through much of the set while feeding off the energy of the crowd.
Fans remained engaged throughout the evening, singing along and supporting the artist through every turn. The set leaned heavily on newer material while still making room for the songs that many fans came to hear. Rosinkranz also treated the crowd to an unreleased song titled “Allergic,” offering a preview of what may be coming next.
The first encore featured “My Lover,” “Backyard Boy,” and “City,” bringing together both new and familiar material. After leaving the stage, Rosinkranz returned one final time for a second encore, closing out the night with “Hotel.”
In Conclusion
The Chicago stop came as Rosinkranz continues touring behind My Lover following a recent European arena run supporting Alex Warren. Despite the early technical hurdles, the show never lost its momentum. The dedicated fans who made their way to Thalia Hall on a Wednesday night were rewarded with an evening that showcased both Rosinkranz’s newer music and the songs that helped make her one of indie pop’s fastest-rising artists. Having previously photographed Rosinkranz at Summerfest 2025, it was interesting to see her return to the Midwest on her own headlining tour, this time in the intimate surroundings of Thalia Hall.
