On February 18, 2022, Grammy® Award-winning Swedish theatrical rock outfit, Ghost returned to Chicago. Ghost kicked off a co-headlining 26-date U.S. arena tour with Volbeat on January 25th, with support from Los Angeles’ Twin Temple. The tour is in support of the band’s fifth full length studio album, IMPERA, due out March 11 via Loma Vista Recordings.

As the lights went down on Allstate Arena, a single spotlight showed a silhouetted guitar playing ghoul. An explosion of light appeared and the silhouette behind the curtain expands to include the entire band of Nameless Hhouls. While the curtain falls, the audience cheered wildly as the ghouls walk out on the catwalk followed by Papa Emeritus IV performing their new song “Kaisarion” off Impera. With the words, “Are you mice… Or are you, RATS!”, Ghost went into their Grammy Nomination and first single from their fourth album, Prequelle. The set-list mixed new and old songs from the entire album collection. One highlight of the night included the Metallica cover, “Enter the Sandman”.
