On September 24, 2018, grandson performed in support for Nothing But Thieves (NBT), along with opening artist Demob Happy, at the historical Fillmore in San Francisco, CA. With a line formed well in advance of the show, fans did not let the Monday blues keep them away from this show.

The highly energetic, grandson was supporting his debut EP, “A Modern Tragedy, Vol. 1”, via Fueled By Ramen which was released on June 15, 2018. grandson closed is his set with the single “Blood//Water” which hit Billboard charts.
