Trinity of Terror

September 13, 2022: On a breezy Tuesday evening, the Trinity of Terror Tour crept through Milwaukee. Fitting that the show would be held in the supposedly haunted venue, The Rave. Part II of the Trinity of Terror Tour featured co-headline artists: Ice Nine Kills, Motionless in White and Black Veil Brides, along with special guest We Came As Romans.

We Came As Romans

Kicking off the evening was We Came As Romans. The metalcore band from Troy, Michigan was formed in 2005 They shared with the crowd that it was their third time playing in Milwaukee within the year! The metalcore band paid tribute to former frontman, Kyle Pavone, who they lost unexpectedly. They honored him by playing what was his favorite song, “Lost in the Moment”.

Black Veil Brides

Next up in the evening was rock band, Black Veil Brides. Formed in 2006 in Cincinnati, Ohio, Black Veil Brides is currently based in Hollywood, California. The group are also no strangers to The Rave. Front man Andy Biersack commented, “we’ve played here 8 million times and it gets better each time.” And later in their set, Andy would instruct the crowd to put their middle fingers in the air, sending a message to anyone who ever picked on them for being a Black Veil Brides fan!

Motionless In White

Third on the lineup was Motionless In White. The metalcore band from Scranton, Pennsylvania was formed in 2004. Early in their set, Chris Motionless noticed some fans near the front looking uncomfortable. They told the frontman there was a man “causing problems,” and he was very quick to instruct security to escort the man outside and that he would not tolerate his fans being treated poorly at his show. Once the man was taken out of the crowd, Chris then asked everyone in the audience to take a step back because he could see people in the front being crushed – safety and fun were two things very important to Motionless In White!

Ice Nine Kills

And finally came the grand finale, Ice Nine Kills, the heavy metal band from Boston, Massachusetts. Ice Nine Kills is a band that brings horror movies to life through music and a live show. Within the first four songs, lead singer, Spencer Charnas had severed a man’s arm, decapitated another character, and sliced a woman’s neck. Throughout their set, they used props and lyrics inspired by iconic horror movies such as It, Halloween, Psycho, Hostel, and many more. of Terror Conclusion

This is truly a show not to miss! It feels like an experience just after getting your ticket scanned! They had merch booths set up in the front parking lot of The Rave, along with a photo op backdrop, bars, and tables and chairs to lounge in before the show began. The Trinity of Terror Tour part 3 is set to begin on Halloween night in El Paso, TX.
