Knox Brings Midwest Best Live On Tour to Sold-Out House of Blues Chicago
Knox Brings High Energy
Knox just played a sold out show at House Of Blues Chicago and it was absolutely electric in the best way possible. Knox is best described as an up and coming pop punk singer from Tennessee. I discovered Knox on Spotify, funny enough as a newer artist and absolutely fell in love with his music. Of course, I wanted to check out his set. When I tell you, it was a great show! I mean it.
Southcourt
Southcourt was the opener for Knox and also was such a fun performance. There were also someone I was unfamiliar with but happy I was able to catch their set! Southcourt did play a small set due to opening but man oh man, they definitely caught my attention. Not only their sound but how much energy they had on stage! Also, not what I was expecting. They were just fun to watch.
A Special Connection on Knox’s Midwest Tour
Something unique about Southcourt joining Knox on this tour is that Southcourt was one of Knox’s first opening bands when he was first starting out so since he is doing this massive midwest tour, it felt right to bring Southcourt out for certain select days so if you get Southcourt as an opener when Knox comes to play your city, consider yourself very lucky and make sure you definitely attend and get there early!
An Energetic Performance From Start to Finish
Knox literally takes the stage and makes it his own, with just jumping around and having fun. He of course busted out a guitar a few times though for a few of the songs which fans Loved. I would say what I loved the most was him telling the crowd that he wants to give it his all and then more. He fully did. There were only a few times I saw this man not running or jumping up and down that stage and that is when he was grabbing his guitar to play and even then he found a way to still run around with it on.
A 24-Song Setlist With Unique Intros
Knox also played about 24 song setlist with no covers but instead, for certain songs, they did a different or unique intro from bands like 5SOS, Walk the Moon, and so on. It was different but fans seemed to really enjoy it!
Overall, Knox is someone I seeing blowing up and someone you should check out now while he is performing in smaller venues! It was truly an awesome show and I wish I could relive it!
