ATTILA: About That Life – 10 Year Anniversary Tour

Attila are embarking on their “About That Life” 10 year anniversary tour, and it made a stop at The Rave/ Eagles Club in Milwaukee on September 17, 2023. “About That Life” was the fifth studio album by Attila, which turned 10 years old this year. To commemorate the milestone, they have set off on a U.S. tour to play the album in its entirety. The tour’s last stop will be in the home city of the band, Atlanta.

Until I Wake

Opening up the night was Until I Wake. Formed in 2019, they are a 4 piece hard rock band from Buffalo, NY. The hard-hitting band made waves with their powerful riffs and intense stage presence. From the start with “For the Record”, they lowered a sonic assault that combined heavy guitar work, thunderous drums, and raw, emotive vocals. If you’re into hard rock that packs a punch, Until I Wake is a band you definitely need to check out. They’re on the rise, and can’t wait to see where their music takes them next!

TEN56

Up next, hailing all the way from the heart of Paris, France, was TEN56. The dynamic hard rock band burst onto the scene in 2020. This is TEN56’s first time ever to tour the US! The bands music packs a punch, blending thunderous riffs, electrifying solos, and powerhouse vocals. Keep an ear out for these French rockers; they’re poised to take the world by storm!

Third to take the stage was Gideon, the metalcore powerhouse from Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Their sound hits you like a sledgehammer, blending bone-crushing guitar work with relentless breakdowns and guttural vocals that leave you breathless. Their energy on stage was amazing, and their passion for the genre was palpable. This made them a must-listen for any true hard rock music enthusiast. Keep an eye on this Southern band as they leave their mark on the metalcore scene.

And for the main event, Attila, originating from Atlanta, Georgia. The band is known for their high-energy performances and unapologetic style. With a sound that combines elements of metalcore and hardcore, their music packs a punch that’s hard to ignore. Attila’s fearless approach to delivering in-your-face lyrics has earned them a dedicated fanbase.

The general theme for Attila’s set was worded perfectly by frontman Chris Fronzak as “anything goes at an Attila show.” As he explained, there were no rules at their shows. He encouraged crowd surfing, stage diving, and had the mosh pit open the entire set.

For a sweet moment though, at the end of the night, they invited 12-year-old Brady from the crowd up on the stage to perform the entire song “Party With The Devil” with the band.
