ABOUT Sacred Rose Fest 2022
The eclectic lineup, a blooming love-letter to the sweet sounds of Americana, Psych-rock, Jam, Indie, Soul, Funk, and Bluegrass, will cater towards music heads who crave live performance mastery.
Sacred Rose is about the love of music, inspired by the halcyon days of the 60s counterculture concerts and playful hippie spirit. The name pays homage to both Sacred Rose founder Michael Berg’s own professional pianist Grandfather, and The Grateful Dead, the progenitors of this culture.
Sacred Rose will feature performances by the group’s founding member Phil Lesh, as well as the Lesh’s collaborator Joe Russo in his Grateful Dead cover band Joe Russo’s Almost Dead.
WHERE
Sacred Rose is located at the SeatGeek Stadium Campus in Bridgeview IL, just 30 minutes outside downtown Chicago.
The newly renovated campus features seven brand-new padded astroturf fields located next to a full-field, air-conditioned dome. Attendees can watch the stages from the comfort of grass and take a break in the shaded dome A/C, all without having to deal with the usual muddy festival floor.
The expansive site allows space for three different stages each with a distinct vibe and top-tier production, as well as massive large-scale interactive art installations like no other festival in the Chicagoland area.
Attendees will be able to get away and find solace, join the fun in the heart of the crowd, or just aimlessly explore the many corners of the festival site.
