Stitched Up Heart at House of Blues in Chicago 2019

On Sunday, December 8, 2019, Stitched Up Heart performed at the House of Blues in Chicago. After recently wrapping up a handful of headline shows, Stitched Up Heart are touring in support of Steel Panther‘s Heavy Metal Rules North American tour. They will tour until December 15th, where the band hit major markets such as New York City, Detroit, and of course, Chicago.

The rockers walked on stage with a quick a wave or point to fans.  The House of Blues was packed early and the audience was anxiously waiting for the show to begin. Stitched Up Heart did not disappoint with their intense energy which was lead by the band founder, vocalist and frontwoman, Alecia ‘Mixi’ Demner.  The current line up includes: James Decker on drums and backing vocals; Merritt Goodwin on lead guitar; and Randy Mathias on bass and backing vocals. Stitched Up Heart recently released a couple tracks off their forthcoming sophomore album, Darkness, which is expected in spring 2020 via Another Century.  Darkness is the follow up album to the Stitched Up Heart’s debut album Never Alone, which charted at #7 on Billboard’s Hard Rock Albums chart, #14 on Billboard Independent Albums chart, #23 on Billboard Top Albums chart and at #4 on Billboard’s Heatseekers chart. The album features the hit track, “Monster, which peaked at #25 on Billboard’s Active Rock chart and #27 on the Mainstream Rock Songs Chart. Additionally, the band has clocked in over 9 million US streams to date and received praise from outlets such as Billboard, Alternative Press, Revolver, Loudwire and more.
