On June 25, 2022, girlhouse performed at the sold out, Bottom Lounge in Chicago. girlhouse was touring in support of The Wrecks, Better Than Ever Tour. girlhouse is the solo project from Lauren Luiz. She just released, the third ep, via Secret Road Records on May 6, 2022.

girlhouse started out the night with her opening track off the third ep, “Paul Blart Mall Cop”, but was mixed with songs from all three ep’s throughout the night.

A funny point in this show was when she introduced her next song. “This is a cover, which means that this is a song that I wish I would have wrote, but I didn’t.” She went on to perform, “A Long December” by the Counting Crows. However, you can stream her version as a single, released in 1996..
