I Love You, I’m Trying Tour

On June 11, 2023, The I Love You, I’m Trying tour came to the sold out House of Blues in Chicago which was ablaze with the energy as three artists took the stage: grandson (aka Jordan Benjamin), K.Flay (aka Kristine Meredith Flaherty), along with opening artist, Jack Kays. The tour is a celebration of grandson’s latest album by the same name. The evening captivated the crowd with the artists’ electrifying performances by delivering a concert experience that left the audience craving for more.

The night began with Jack Kays, a rising star in the alternative rock scene. Armed with his soulful voice and powerful guitar riffs, Kays set the tone for the evening with a setlist filled with emotionally charged songs. During his set, Kays performed a couple solo songs, including “Barely Alive” which went into full band. He also shared a song to be released on June 23, 2023 called, “Caffeine” which had everyone clapping along.
