Henhouse Prowlers Departure’ Album Release Show at City Winery in Chicago

Every beginning has an end. Every end, a new beginning. Every departure, has an arrival.
Henhouse Prowlers are looking forward to performing again this summer, in support of their new album, The Departure. On Memorial Day Weekend, Henhouse Prowlers kicked off the spring / summer tour, with a special weekend of shows lined up at the City Winery of Chicago on May 29 and 30, 2021. All shows were limited capacity with socially distanced seating.

Front Row Music News’ Russ Boxer was at the final show of the Album Release weekend to cover the celebration. The Departure, was release on May 21, 2021 and preceded by two single song releases – “Short Branch Saloon”, available on March 26 and “Heart Break and Devastation”, available on April 23.

Hailing from Chicago, the Henhouse Prowlers have created their own global journey through their distinctive style of progressive Bluegrass music, for over 15 years. On stage, the group’s enthralling performances give audiences a sense how much they love what they do.

The Henhouse Prowlers are: Chris Dollar; (guitar and vocals), Jon Goldfine; (bass and vocals),
Jake Howard; (mandolin and vocals), and Ben Wright; (banjo and vocals).
