Pop Evil Flesh & Bone tour

On Halloween, a crowd gathered at The Sylvee in Madison, Wisconsin for Pop Evil Flesh & Bone tour. There were a few celebrities in attendance, like Daphne and Fred of the Scooby Doo crew, Kylo Ren of the Star Wars series, and even a squid made its way into the crowd!

LYLVC

Kicking off the night was LYLVC (pronounced lilac), a six-piece band from Raleigh, NC. They mixed sounds of hip hop, rock, and electronic music to make beautifully fluid songs.

Fame on Fire

Second on the bill was Fame On Fire, from Palm Beach, FL. They would also be known as The Powerpuff Girls for this show only. Front man Bryan Kuznitz was Bubbles, guitarist Blake Saul was Blossom, bassist Paul Spirou was Buttercup, and drummer Alex Roman was Professor Utonium. Though they started as a cover band, they have made a big name for themselves and their own music over the last year. They did perform one powerful cover of Numb by Linkin Park, which became a loud singalong with the crowd. Before performing one of their heaviest songs, “Cut Throat,” Kuznitz dedicated the ripper of a song to none other than Mojo Jojo.

The Show

Headlining the evening was Pop Evil, who are no strangers to us at Front Row Music News (see Pop Evil 2015, Pop Evil 2017, Welcome To Rockville 2018). For tonight, they came dressed up for Halloween: front man Leigh Kakaty as Freddy Krueger, bassist Joey Walser as Jason Voorhees, guitarist Nick Fuelling with a Ghostface mask, and Davey Grahs as Michael Meyers. Meanwhile, Haley Cramer sat high above at her drum kit, head-banging and drumming away to the beat. They were sure to play songs from every album, making sure any fan would leave the show happy and on an adrenaline rush!

The night kicked off with Pop Evil’s “Paranoid,” setting the tone for a night of musical mayhem. The crowd was immersed in the band’s energy, reaching a crescendo during the final performance of “Breathe Again,” leaving the audience breathless and craving more. In a surprising twist, Kakaty and Fuelling took center stage for an intimate acoustic interlude, delivering hauntingly beautiful renditions of “Monster You Made” and “100 in a 55,” showcasing the band’s versatility.

Wrap-up

In conclusion, Pop Evil Flesh & Bone tour at The Sylvee on Halloween proved to be a spine-chilling spectacle, leaving fans with lasting memories of a night filled with amazing performances and unforgettable Halloween spirit.
