Rock The Universe 2022 – Orlando, FL.

Well, Florida’s Biggest Christian Music Festival was finally back with Rock the Universe 2022. It’s been a while since the last one, but the wait ended January 28th and 29th. Although these couple of days were cooler than past years, it didn’t seem to hold anyone back. Overall, it was the perfect setting at the Universal Studios Florida theme park. Rock the Universe was an unforgettable two-day weekend of faith and fun. Concert performances took place on three open-air stages inside the park.   The two-day event included the following lineup of artists:

Friday, January 28

  • for KING AND COUNTRY
  • Crowder
  • Matthew West
  • Rhett Walker
  • Jordan Feliz
  • Riley Clemmons

Saturday, January 29

  • Casting Crowns
  • Zach Williams
  • Big Daddy Weave
  • We the Kingdom
  • Cory Asbury of Bethel Music
  • Social Club Misfits

Day 1

Day 1 brought headline artist, For King and Country. The amazing supporting artists helped ease the anticipation. First on stage for Friday was up and coming artist in the Christian industry, Riley Clemmons. After see Riley a couple of times before, I can tell you that she did a great job and knows what she is doing. four more artists performed before For King and Country. We saw Jordan Feliz. He is always having a great time and interacting with the fans. Matthew West is always fun to see and brings very relatable messages to his listeners.  There was Crowder, who always brings a great concert and one a crowd favorite is “Ghost”. One artist that really stood out this night was Rhett Walker.  I have seen Rhett Walker a couple of other times, but this time seeing him, he brought a new excitement to his music. He was the best of the night for me.  For King and Country did come on last and did bring a great show.  They were worth the wait.

Day 2

Day 2 of Rock the Universe was just as entertaining, if not better. The only thing that could have been better was the temperature, but of course we can’t control that outside. The second night seemed to be colder than the first, but the music keep our blood flowing. In addition to the music, we also enjoyed some rides in between artists throughout the night. It also helped to keep us moving during the cold. Of course, it is always amazing to see the World of Harry Potter.

The night started off with acts like Social Club Misfits and Cory Asbury. Another up and coming band called, We the Kingdom, really impressed us with an amazing job. Zach Williams played awesome performing many fan favorites. Closing out Rock the Universe 2022 was Casting Crowns. They did an amazing job with all of their songs. One favorite song was “Scars in Heaven”. What a great song that was and it really reminded me of the one group I missed called Big Daddy Weave. They have been in the Christian music scene for over 20 years now. This past year they lost one of their band members to diabetes and other complications that he was going through. This was their first time playing since his death and as the singer, his brother, said it’s like a band aid, you just must pull it off. They did amazing with their performance and we knew that they were so proud of him, with all that he has gone through and now Jay has a whole new body!!

Wrapping up Rock the Universe 2022, we had an unforgettable weekend of faith and fun. The experiences were endless with two nights of powerful tunes from Christian Music’s brightest stars. We are excited to see who will be coming to next year’s Rock the Universe.  Be sure to keep up with the latest information at Rock the Universe
