On July 20, 2023, it was a hot and humid night in St. Augustine, Florida. However, that didn’t keep the fans of the multi-platinum selling artist, Young the Giant, from attending the concert. This was my third time seeing them live and I was very excited to see them again. As always, they did not disappoint.

Latest Album and Tour, American Bollywood

The tour is in support of greatly anticipated release of American Bollywood. The album is their first in four years and was released on November 16, 2022 via Jungle Youth Publishing. The massive North American tour, which included Milky Chance, started on May 30 in Montreal and ends on August 31 in Dillion, Colorado.

The Show

Starting out the set, album title song, “American Bollywood” really got the audience in the groove for what was the be a great night. The energy and passion Young the Giant brought to the stage was amazing. The crowd was into every song from start to finish. The band played a great mix of old favorites and new material, including “Cough Syrup” and “Silvertongue,” which are two of my favorite songs. It was clear that they were having a great time up on stage as well.

The St. Augustine Amphitheatre was also a fantastic place for the concert, with great sound quality and plenty of space to move around. Overall, I had an amazing time and would highly recommend seeing Young The Giant live if you ever have the chance.
